Brad Pistotnik gives some advice about social media after your car accident.

Lately we have seen so much news about social media especially because of Trump and Twitter. As you can tell, Trumps twitter tirades have caused him some trouble that may not be there if he would refrain from twitter. It really is wonderful that our president communicates directly with the people to get points across. Brad Pistotnik Law needs you to know a few things to beware of if you are injured. Let’s look at social media on a smaller level in regards to all of our personal use. Social media is being used for so many things and it is never going away. If you are going to use social media then there are some things you need to consider if you are involved in anything that could result in a lawsuit. You may think because you have a private account it is going to be confidential, this is not true. If you have been in an accident and post anything to social media the insurance company can find it. For example, if you are in an injury accident and you post something like “thank goodness I wasn’t hurt in the car accident tonight,” there are a few things you need to consider. What if you wake up in the middle of the night with sharp pain in your back or neck? Well, you might decide to go to the emergency room. If you go to the emergency room and realize you are actually hurt then you may have caused some damage to your case. It would have been better to not have posted anything at all. Always think before you post!
